3rd Line Support Engineer - Nottingham/Remote - 3 months to perm - Inside IR35
Here at Lucid we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced 3rd Line Support Engineer. This will be on a hybrid basis split between Nottingham and remote working. There will be occasional travel to different sites around the UK, with expenses paid.
Responsibilities & Skills required:
- Visit customers on site UK wide to carry-out consultancy, installations & support.
- Pre-delivery configuration and testing of Servers and workstations to customer specifications.
- Help with unpacking and setting up of Servers and workstations onsite.
- Receive fault reports, diagnose, and provide solutions quickly.
- Evaluate new products & technologies when requested.
- Experience delivering and supporting end user compute environments, at least one of; Microsoft/Apple/Google.
- Experience of device image deployment solutions such as, Intune, SCCM, MDT, etc.
- O365 deployment/Azure technologies
- Experience of MDM (Mobile Device Management) solutions.
- Experience deploying server & storage solutions, on premise and cloud.
- Virtualization; Hyper-V/VMware.
- Backup solutions such as Veeam.
- Networking - switching and routing, VLAN configuration, Wireless configuration, and surveying.
